Terry Hogan a Rotarian of the Rotary Club of Church and Oswaldtwistle has been presented with an award for serving the club for 40 years. Terry a local Oswaldtwistle lad has lived in the town all his life, and is probably one of the best known persons due to the many activities he has been associated with.
He started his working life after leaving St Mary’s School, Oswaldtwistle as an apprentice indentured plumber. For a period of 4 years between 1954-1958 Terry became a full time fire fighter based at Accrington Fire Station.
