Youth Speaks 2018 – Rhyddings Team in action!

  These are a few photos of the team from Rhyddings School who participated in the Rotary District 1190 Youth Speaks Final, held at Windermere School on 3rd Feb 2018. As you may be aware, they performed fantastically, coming 3rd out of a very strong, competitive list of finalists from other schools across the region.

ROTARY COMPLETE A FURTHER PROJECT AT LOCAL RAILWAY STATION

TALKING NEWSPAPER FOR THE BLIND CELEBRATES 40 YEARS AND STILL GOING STRONG

A grand celebration was recently held at the Brooks club in Accrington to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Hyndburn District Talking Newspaper. Over 100 people were present to watch the people involved with the Talking Newspaper receive awards for voluntary long service, Secretary Marion Clark’s award was for a magnificent 35 years of service.
