ROTARY’S CHARITY BIKE RIDE ANOTHER GREAT SUCCESS

  Over 450 bike riders enjoyed another great day despite the cloudy weather in the Ribble Valley bike ride on Sunday 11th June in 3 distance classifications around the Ribble Vally and Yorkshire Dales, with the longest distance being the 100 mile Ultimate challenge. HUNDREDS TURN OUT FOR ROTARY’S 5K AND 10K CHARITY WALK 2017

The weather was kind to make the 12th Charity Walk organised by the Rotary club of Church and Oswaldtwistle a grand day out for over 350 walkers. Rotarians from Accrington, Blackburn, Darwen, Great Harwood and Rishton and Pendle View acted as stewards to make this event a joint project, which certainly promoted the Rotary image.

REGISTRATIONS FLOODING IN FOR THE BIG WALK

Another large turnout is expected on Sunday 14th May, 2017 when the Charity Walk organised by the Rotary club of Church and Oswaldtwistle gets underway. Many organisations, like police cadets, sea cadets  scout groups  and charity walkers have already registered and one group the Clarets Cheer and Dance squad have signed up for 59 walkers,

Polio Charity Ball

The 1st ‘Polio Charity Ball’ was a huge success, held at the Longfield Suite Prestwich, with the main sponsor, Dance Events North West joining forces with Church & Oswaldtwistle Rotary.
